Meet Your Speech Pathologist

Kate Cranage (MSPA)(CPSP)
Owner, Certified Practising Speech Pathologist

Kate has always has always had a passion for communication, being labelled the classroom ‘chatterbox’ by many teachers over the years. After high school, she put her skills to good use, completing a Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters of Speech Pathology at La Trobe University.

Since graduating, Kate has completed additional training in Cued Articulation, Key Word Sign, Australian Sign Language, Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy and the Lidcombe Stuttering Program. She is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist and current member of Speech Pathology Australia.

Kate enjoys working with preschool and school-age children, promoting age-appropriate speech, language, play and social communication skills. She understand the importance of child-lead therapy with a strong focus on parent training so that strategies and supports can be implemented beyond the clinic environment.

On the weekends, Kate can be found walking her dog Kirra at the park or visiting a new brunch spot. She loves listening to audiobooks, drinking hot chocolates and trying out new hobbies from time to time.
