Welcome to More Than Speech

Communication is part of everything we do. It shapes our understanding of the world and the way we connect with others. Our mission is to support children of all ages to communicate clearly and confidently, within the clinic and beyond. At More Than Speech, we understand that it’s about more than just communication, it’s about connection.

Assessments

We provide comprehensive evaluations using standardised assessment tools, questionnaires and play-based observations. These assessments help to determine the nature of your child’s communication difficulties and whether ongoing therapy is recommended.

Therapy

We use evidence-based therapy approaches to help your child achieve their communication goals. Sessions are typically scheduled on a fortnightly basis, with homework activities provided to consolidate skills between sessions.

Kindergarten & School Visits

We provide offsite speech pathology services in local kindergartens and schools. These sessions may be beneficial for those who are unable to attend the clinic, or those wanting to generalise communication skills in the classroom or on the playground.
